Ms. Aisha L. Donawa was admitted to practice Law in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the year 2010 and spent the first eleven years of her legal career as an Attorney at Law with a leading law firm in Trinidad and Tobago. In this capacity she serviced the firm’s financial clients through the management of its Debt Recovery Portfolio and gained extensive Civil Litigation experience as an Instructing and Advocate Attorney at Law in the areas of Banking Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Employment Law, Contract Law and Family Law.Â
Having developed a keen interest in the banking and financial sector through representing financial institutions, non-financial institutions and credit unions, in 2021 Ms. Donawa obtained the Cert. FA (Certified Financial Advisor) designation after completing a prescribed course of studies in relation to the Banking and Finance Industry of Trinidad and Tobago. The knowledge obtained through pursuing this program coupled with the practical experience gained in representing the interests of varying financial institutions has equipped Ms. Donawa with the skills required to effectively assist financial institutions, businesses and individuals in managing and recovering debts.Â
Additionally, during the course of her legal career Ms. Donawa  instructed Senior Counsels and Senior Attorneys at Law in varying legal matters through which she gained extensive experience in litigation and civil procedure and further developed exceptional legal drafting, research and problem solving skills.
Ms. Donawa adopts a pragmatic and constructive style in handling legal matters and is fiercely protective of her client’s interests. She provides bespoke personal legal services which address the needs of her client’s and ensures that matters are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner.
